June 28 Salem Club Garage Sale at the Hanson’s
8am-4pm, at the Hanson's. 
Take your donated items to the Hanson's home starting Thursday the 26th. Items should be priced before you drop them off. Remember, all proceeds go to charity and can be tax deductible. The Club needs items and workers. Call Kay for information or to make araingements. 503-364-6592

July 2 Salem FIRST WEDNESDAY: 
Wednesday, July 2. Meet at Riverfront Park North Parking Lot at 4:30pm. (Lot entrance is next to Gilbert House, Union and Front Streets.) Cars will move out to assigned parking spots at 4:45pm. The show is over at 8pm. Fee: $7.00 per car.
July 11-13 Portland July 11-13:  Historic Races at PIR
For all of you who have paid your $45 entrance fee, you get entrance, passes for two, for all three days. Included is reserved parking in the Corvette Corral, and a parade lap of the track on Saturday & Sunday. You can try your skill at the autocross track, walk through the pits and see all the racers up close. There will be historic racing Corvettes from the 50's through the 90's along with a huge car show, and vender booths. Follow this link for more info: www.portlandhistorics.com

July 19 Jefferson JEFFERSON MINT FESTIVAL:  
Friday, July 18.  We will meet at Wal-Mart South in Salem at 6pm and leave for Jefferson at 6:30pm.  We will have reserved parking near the music stage.  This year’s band is JT and the Tourists.

It is with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm that the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, class A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, and The Willamette Valley Corvette Club announce the formation of the 1st Annual Volcanoes Corvette Night at Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer, OR, on Saturday, July 26, 2008.   This very exciting evening will kick off with a Corvette show from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, followed by live music, socializing, an opportunity to enjoy an "All You Can Eat" barbeque with your choice of 1/2 pound grilled chicken, 1/2 pound hamburger, 1/2 pound hotdog, salads, baked beans, soft drinks and beer, and a professional baseball game between the Volcanoes and the Boise Hawks, class A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs.
 
Digital pictures of the cars will be shown on our jumbotron, and the Grand Winner of the day will be offered the opportunity to throw the Ceremonial First Pitch prior to the National Anthem.   We have created entry levels from just coming to the car show, to staying for the game with outfield seats, reserved seats or premium lower level box seats.   Also, one option is to add the "All You Can Eat" barbeque.
